Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has launched the Green Tractor Scheme GST. Punjab Green Tractor Scheme GTS Registration Started for all Punjab Farmers. The Farmers who belong to Punjab province and meet the eligibility criteria can easily apply from our home. Kisan cards will not be considered under this scheme. Punjab Farmers can receive a subsidy of PKR 10 lakh from the government to purchase locally manufactured tractors with 50 to 85 horsepower.
In Phase 1, 9,500 tractors will be distributed through a digital balloting process. After the verification process is completed, the e-balloting process of the eligible applicants should be completed, out of which 9500 lucky farmers will be selected. The applicant cannot sell the tractor purchased through the green tractor scheme before 3 years. The last date of registration is 10 October 2014. Eligibility Criteria for GST Green Tractor Scheme Registration
- Applicant must belong to Punjab Province.
- The applicant must have at least 1 acre to 50 acres of agricultural land.
- The candidate must not have any outstanding loans or debts to the Punjab Government.
- Once the winner’s name is announced, they must pay the remaining amount of the tractor price within 30 days.
- The Kisan card is not mandatory.
- The applicant has never acquired a tractor through any kind of loan before.
- The applicant should not be in default of any financial institution.
- The tractor will be delivered within one month after the payment is submitted.
- The applicant cannot sell the tractor purchased through the green tractor scheme before 3 years.
